Rice flour 2 tbsp

Coriander powder ½ tsp

Carom seeds (ajwain) ½ tsp

Garam masala A pinch

Oil 1 tsp

Water 3–4 tbsp (as needed)

Step 1: Prep the Onion.

1. Slice one large onion — not too thick or thin.

2. Add salt and gently massage the onions with your hands (don’t crush them).

3. Let them rest for 10 minutes to release their natural moisture.

Step 2: Optional Flavor Boost – Roast the Besan

In a dry pan, lightly roast the gram flour for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
