Part 1 India visit
Upon my arrival at Indore Airport at approximately 7:00 a.m. on May 25th, it was evident that the city had made significant strides in cleanliness, earning the recognition as the cleanest city in India for six consecutive years. This positive transformation was particularly notable as there were no cows roaming the streets, a stark contrast to our visit a decade ago when Indore had a reputation for being unclean. While the claim of being the cleanest city may not be entirely accurate, the undeniable improvement was apparent. However, as we ventured beyond the airport, we encountered stray dogs in the vicinity, indicating areas that still require attention. The condition of the roads during our journey from the airport to our house was quite deplorable, riddled with potholes, bumps, and open gutters scattered throughout the city.
